Illustration for 'The follow a star' mail campaign and online animation.

An illustrated book brought to life the true story of a child called Finn facing cancer. This was a new and engaging way for Macmillan to tell their brand story and was used in both print and and as an animated online video. This was the first time Macmillan has used a viral film to support a direct mail campaign. The film supported the main appeal by encouraging the audience to donate online. The campaign was supported by social media activity.
